3. What Personal Data We Collect and Why
Personal Data
We may collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, and telephone number when you voluntarily provide it through registering for an account, participating in a survey, subscribing to our newsletter, or purchasing a product or service. The legal basis for this data collection is either your active consent or the necessity to fulfill our contractual obligations.
Sensitive Personal Data
We do not routinely collect sensitive personal data such as health data. Any incidental sensitive data derived from interactions will be securely handled and used solely for the purpose for which it was submitted.
Derivative Data
Our servers automatically collect information when you access the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, and pages viewed.
Contact Forms
If you submit a contact form, we collect the data shown in the form along with your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. We keep contact form submissions for customer service purposes but do not use the information for marketing unless explicitly agreed upon.
Call Booking Forms
We collect certain information submitted through our third-party scheduling tool (Cal.com), including your name, email, and any responses you choose to share when booking a call. This information is used solely to prepare for your session and deliver the best possible experience. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. You can request deletion at any time by contacting sal@signalfirecode.com.
Signal Fire Code Drift Quiz
When you take the Signal Fire Code Drift Map Quiz, we collect your quiz responses and calculated pattern result. What data we collect depends on your pattern severity:
Pattern 6+ (Severe Disconnection) — Automatic Data Deletion
If your assessment indicates Pattern 6 or higher, we automatically delete your detailed quiz responses immediately. What gets deleted: all individual question answers, behavioral pattern analysis, and defense profile data. What we retain: an anonymous session ID (not linked to personal information), pattern classification, and completion timestamp.
Pattern 6+ indicates you need professional mental health support, which is outside our peer coaching scope. We do not collect your email address at this severity level, and you will not receive marketing communications from us.
Patterns 1–5 (Early to Moderate Disconnection) — Standard Retention
We collect quiz responses, behavioral pattern analysis, your email address, and pattern classification. This is used to generate your personalized results, send follow-up educational content, and offer peer coaching opportunities.
Data Lifecycle: 0–90 days: full data retained. 90 days: email & IP addresses automatically redacted. 1 year: all granular data archived & purged, only anonymized aggregates retained.
Audit Trail for Data Deletion
We maintain an audit log of all automatic data deletions for Pattern 6+ results. This log contains only session ID, pattern classification, deletion timestamp, and reason for deletion — no quiz answers or personal information.
Cookies
We use cookies to store visitor preferences and record user-specific information on what pages users access or visit. Details on used cookies and their purposes are outlined in our Cookie Policy.
Analytics
We use third-party analytics services (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity) to help understand your usage of our services. Their privacy policies and opt-out mechanisms are outlined in our Cookie Policy.
